What guests always ask

Questions collected over coffee tables, sorted by when they come up: before the box is ordered, and after the chamber clicks open for the first time.

Before the box arrives

Official site or not? Not — the maker lives at chomchomstore.com. This is an independent shelf of their genuine Amazon listings, funded by the referral commission disclosed on every page, and nobody at ChomChom has read a word of it.

Which one first — Roller, Detailer, or bundle? One pet and no car: the Roller. Car-heavy life: add the Detailer. Multi-floor, multi-pet chaos: a bundle or a pair, so nobody carries a roller up the stairs at midnight. The footer's 'which tool, where' table answers in one glance.

White or black — any difference inside? None. Same strips, same chamber, same charge; the shell color exists for shelves and décor, and the pairs exist so two floors can each keep one.

Why do your prices sometimes lag Amazon's? Because sellers move prices at will; numbers here are from a dated pass, printed next to the number. The button always opens the live listing, where the real price lives.

Does it work on human hair? Enthusiastically. Long hair, lint, dander, glitter after a birthday — fur is the headline, not the limit.

After the first click

It feels weaker than day one — broken? Almost never. Either the chamber is packed (empty it) or the strips have wound on a lint sweater (pluck them clean or pass the vacuum's brush head over them). Grip returns immediately. The one genuine killer is water on the strips — keep them dry, always.

One-way strokes catch nothing — is mine defective? No: the mechanism is the back-AND-forth. The forward stroke gathers, the return stroke deposits into the chamber. Short scrubbing motions, not long sweeps.

Leather, silk, loose knits? Leather is safe but nearly fur-proof anyway — the charge has nothing to grip. Delicates want light pressure, short strokes, and a corner test first, same as any tool you would let near them.

How long before it wears out? The reviews are full of owners casually mentioning eight and ten years. Nothing depletes — no adhesive, battery, or motor — so the usual cause of death is losing it under the couch it cleans.
